For nearly forty years, a 58-year-old white executive has quietly admired Black women while wrestling with a painful truth: fear has kept him from pursuing relationships with them or speaking up when he witnessed unfair treatment in corporate America. Now, he's asking whether it's too late to become the man he wishes he had been all along.

Sasha thought she was celebrating her friend's engagement when she learned something she was never supposed to know: her boyfriend had allegedly been planning to propose to her. After confronting him, she somehow became the villain for ruining a surprise she never asked to hear about. Now she's left wondering whether she spoiled a proposal, or uncovered deeper questions about her relationship and the people closest to her.
